Who Are We?

The Limestone Fire Department is a 100 percent volunteer fire department with five stations, 25 firefighters, 10 officers, and 5 publicly elected trustees. We run all ambulance calls with the local ambulance service provider, all motor vehicle accidents, and all other fire related emergencies. In 2006 we ran 1044 calls. We are one of the most active volunteer fire departments in Central Illinois and we love what we do.
