Who Are We?
The Limestone Fire Department is a combination paid on call and volunteer fire department with five stations, 25 firefighters, 7 officers, 2 staff, and 5 publicly elected trustees. We are under the command of Fire Chief Terry Capps. We run all ambulance calls with the local ambulance service provider, all motor vehicle accidents, and all other fire related emergencies. In 2009 we responded to 1111 emergency calls. We are one of the most active fire departments in Central Illinois and we love what we do.
